Arif Ahmed, M.D. is a Board Certified Internist and Board Certified Rheumatologist. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Ahmed graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a minor in Chemistry. He briefly lived in Georgetown, Texas where he was part of the Mens Tennis Team at Southwestern University. He completed medical school at Ross University in Dominica West Indies. He then completed his internal medicine residency and was a Chief Resident at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to completing his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Missouri, he practiced as a Hospitalist at Indiana University. Dr. Ahmed has delivered several presentations at national meetings. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, mountain biking, hiking, cheering for the Texas Aggies, and traveling.
