Mark T. Malone, M.D., is a Board Certified pain specialist and a native Texan. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and went on to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Malone attended Baylor College of Medicine for residency and training in anesthesiology, and then completed a pain management fellowship at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in 1998.
Prior to founding Advanced Pain Care in 2002, Dr. Malone was a member of an Austin-based group practice for twelve years, and a clinical instructor at Baylor College of Medicine for six years. He is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a sub-specialty in pain management; this is the only board certification for pain management endorsed by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Amanda Trout is an Anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained Pain Management physician. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Trout graduated from the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Dr. Trout received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. She studied Anesthesia at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and
went on to complete her Interventional Pain Management fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. Trout is trained in spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pump management, and various pain management techniques. She is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Osteopathy, and the American Diabetes Association.

Dr. Michael Balderamos is a fellowship trained Pain Management Physician and a native Texan. Originally from Fort Worth, TX, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas before attending the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Balderamos completed his Anesthesiology residency at the University of Nebraska and then completed a Pain Management fellowship at the University of Washington, home of the world’s first multidisciplinary pain clinic and birthplace of modern pain medicine.
Dr. Balderamos is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Medical Association.
