Advanced Pain Care welcomes Monica Davila Hart as the newest provider to our Central Texas team. Avid dog lover – more specifically, Boston Terrier lover – and former RN, Monica is excited to help patients at Advanced Pain Care regain their quality of life. Born in Ponce Puerto Rico, Monica is bilingual and speaks and writes in Spanish.
Most recently, Monica worked in urgent care and is from the Killeen/Temple area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University-Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX in 2007. She went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, TX in 2012. Monica also received her Post Masters Nurse Educator Certificate from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2015.
Monica is a member of the National League for Nursing, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Monica received an award from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, a National Certified Medical Examiner for Federal Motor Carriers (DOT examiner,) a Certified Urine Collector and a Certified Breath Alcohol Tester.
Monica is married with four fur babies and calls Temple home.
