Mark T. Malone, M.D., is a Board Certified pain specialist and a native Texan. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and went on to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Malone attended Baylor College of Medicine for residency and training in anesthesiology, and then completed a pain management fellowship at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in 1998.
Prior to founding Advanced Pain Care in 2002, Dr. Malone was a member of an Austin-based group practice for twelve years, and a clinical instructor at Baylor College of Medicine for six years. He is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a sub-specialty in pain management; this is the only board certification for pain management endorsed by the American Board of Medical Specialties. In 2017 Dr. Malone was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and Perioperative Care at UT Dell Medical School.
Dr. Malone is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Spinal Intervention Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the Travis County Medical Society. He has successfully treated thousands of patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. He and his wife, Tracy, live in Austin with their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys water-skiing, cycling, and travel.

Jennifer Hudson grew up in Arlington, Texas. After graduating from high school, she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to attend Colorado State University. Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice. During her internship with the police department, she realized her true passion was being a nurse.
Jennifer obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2009. She then returned to Texas in 2010 to be close to her family and began working at the county hospital John Peter Smith in Fort Worth as a Registered Nurse. During her time at JPS she specialized in infectious disease, telemetry, and invasive radiology. She left JPS in 2020 after receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 from University of Texas at Arlington.
In 2020 after obtaining her graduate degree, she began her career as a nurse practitioner in cardiology in Waco after moving from the metroplex to central Texas. Under the cardiologist, she became the sole primary care provider in Clifton, TX at a small clinic. During her free time, Jennifer loves to relax and take vacations with her husband and friends, reading, and taking care of her dog and chickens. Jennifer is passionate about improving quality of life and establishing a respected rapport with her patients.
