Stephanie moved to the Austin area from El Paso Texas and joined Advanced Pain Care in 2015. She graduated from University of Texas at El Paso in 2008 with her bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked as an Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center of El Paso, a level 1 trauma center affiliated with Texas Tech Medical School from 2008-2015. As an RN, she cared for critically ill medical, surgical, neuro, and trauma patients. She was active in the education of graduate nurses and nursing students as both an instructor and mentor. In 2015 she graduated from University of Texas at El Paso with her Master's Degree in Nursing and is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Her practicum experience included rotations with Neurology at Texas Tech Medical School-El Paso, Neurosurgery at UMC El Paso, and Medical ICU at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso.
Stephanie has empathy for her patients, her husband suffers from chronic back pain as a result of an injury, "I know how devastating having a family member with chronic pain can be. I remember going to the pain doctor and being very concerned over the treatment my husband received. I make sure to be open and honest with my patients to give them the best possible care."
Stephanie spends her free time with her husband, four children including twin boys, and her grandson.
She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
