Dr. Michaud was a registered nurse for several years before starting medical school. In his own words, “I took somewhat of a scenic route to becoming a physician, but also an important one. It’s one that I know was instrumental in helping me become a more compassionate and caring physician towards my patients. I really wish there was a magical pill or surgery that would take away all chronic pain. Sadly it’s not here yet. My guarantee to you, as our patient, however, is to use my training, skills and knowledge to help decrease your pain, improve your function and your quality of life.”
