Mark T. Malone, M.D., is a Board Certified pain specialist and a native Texan. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and went on to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Malone attended Baylor College of Medicine for residency and training in anesthesiology, and then completed a pain management fellowship at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in 1998.
Prior to founding Advanced Pain Care in 2002, Dr. Malone was a member of an Austin-based group practice for twelve years, and a clinical instructor at Baylor College of Medicine for six years. He is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a sub-specialty in pain management; this is the only board certification for pain management endorsed by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Allen L. Dennis is a Board Certified Pain Management and Anesthesiology physician residing in Austin, Texas. Dr. Dennis graduated from The School of Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in June 2005. He received his graduate degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, TX in 1999.

Dr. Rizwan Khan is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Board Certified Pain Management doctor. He received his doctorate from University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas at Houston, which is part of the Texas Medical Center. The University of Miami was where Dr. Khan went on to do his Pain Management fellowship.
Dr. Khan recently moved from a thriving practice in Houston to work in the Greater Waco area. While in Houston, Dr. Khan was recognized as a “Top Doc” in Anesthesia and Pain Management by the Houstonia Magazine.
Dr. Khan’s interest in pain management and anesthesia started shortly after high school while serving in the U.S. military. Ryan Michaud is a Board Certified physician in Anesthesia and Pain Management and did his Interventional fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He received his medical diploma from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. He completed his Anesthesia Residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque from 2006 to 2010.
